Trends come and go, but my relentless river of thoughts remain constant...
Never seemingly fading in the distance my memories sometimes haunt me in the dark...
Facing fears that resurface at times when things get bad, but I deal and move on...
Moving on sometimes forgetting where I belong, forgetting the ones that guided me on that journey.
Nevertheless, I battle the demons alone, trying to be stronger, but I fail and fall....
Who picked me up when I was down...who gave a shit when I was out?
It was you all along, the one that gave me the strength in hard times...the one that opened my eyes...it was you who breathed life into my heart and brought tears of joy to my eyes...
It was you all along and I never saw it...never even imagined it could have been the one standing right there in front of me...
So far away, but yet so close...so close yet so far away..which one decides my life? which one decides my fate??
Neither I authored my own journey, I spun my own web, I walked that brick road alone, so I thought. Never imagining you were right there behind me carrying me through it all..
To all of you here at dmusic who may read this...the fight is long, but worth every second..the road is bumpy but worth the ride...the highway is lonely, but you are not alone...feel the wind..hear the breeze..it calls out to you, it summons you like a calming word from a loved one...you see you are never alone..we are all never alone...as long as we let each other into our hearts...
